Juan Manuel Mogollón, Vice President, Latin America

Juan has ample experience in and knowledge of the global IT marketplace. His tenure in Silicon Valley, combined with his passion for leading high performance teams, has enabled him to develop an effective entrepreneurship approach to understand and fulfill the needs and opportunities of enterprises in a globalized and inter-connected business environment.

He initiated his career at IBM in Colombia. Later, Juan accepted the challenge to join the team that kick started the Colombian and Central American operations for Sun Microsystems. He was later in charge of the ISP and Data Storage business units for Latin America.

Juan then took charge of the Canada and Latin America Marketing division, and was later promoted to lead the global unit in charge of field marketing enablement, product launches, installed base business and field communications for Sun Microsystems. Prior to joining eTask-it, he was in charge of worldwide partner and alliances at BEA Systems, recently acquired by Oracle Corporation.

He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and an MBA in Finance from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia and has attended several executive education programmes at Columbia University, New York and Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
