BluTec - a unique blueprint-driven approach to project execution

In order to achieve consistent delivery of services, eTask-it has invented "BluTec™ - a unique Blueprint-driven approach to project execution.

Although customer requirements vary from project to project, the underlying life cycle of service execution must be consistent.BluTec™ captures and documents the basic building blocks (e.g., processes, roles, documentation) of a service, which are then assembled into rich Blueprints.

The use of BluTec™ means that service implementation can be successfully repeated with the same degree of quality and effectiveness, helping to create ongoing, consistent and profitable relationships with customers. A few other PSA players offer templates. eTask-it, however, takes templating to a whole new dimension with its ground-breaking BluTec™ approach.

Templates only give a two dimensional view of tasks: Time and Resources. BluTech™ blueprints, by contrast, provide a full 360-degree representation of a service, including complete task guides, deliverables, authorization process, historic effort information, and dynamic documentation management. We believe that moving from templates to BluTec™ is like replacing a black-and-white, silent-movie view of a project with a 3D, surround-sound model of a service.

eTask-it's BluTec™ blueprint functionality provides answers to:

  • How should a task be executed?
  • What roles and skills are required to deliver a task?
  • What deliverable types are expected?
  • What documentation is needed and how what this documentation should look like?
  • What process/activity is required for different types of deliverables?
  • Are approvals needed for key tasks?
  • What workflows are needed to support processes such as change management, issue management, requirement changes?
  • What KPIs and reports are required to control the service?
  • What is the escalation process when a service is not in compliance with the SLA?
