Rafael Pino, CTO

Rafael graduated with honors as a Systems Engineer from Universidad Nacional in Colombia and holds postgraduate studies in Enterprise Software Architectures from Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia.

He started his career in 1997 working for Unisys Corp. where he worked for almost six years developing and leading as an arquitect of the implementation of branch office and web platform banking solutions for pan regional customers in Latin America.

In 2002, Rafael joined Heinsohn Software House, one of the leading SW development companies in the region, where he started their Software Factory helping define operational models, methodological support frameworks, leading technical and architectural teams and supporting sales efforts for this business unit.

Later on, he accepted the challenge to lead the Technical development team at Studiocom, a multinational digital agency, managing various projects and activations for diverse clients in the US and South America. This provided Rafael with the opportunity to experiment with new and different methodological models and technical challenges.

By mid 2005, he returned to Heinsohn as Director of Presales. In this position he had the opportunity to promote and lead important initiatives for continuous improvement and strategic organizational redesign to support innovative models for software development.

Rafael is passionate about software engineering and enterprise architectures, which has allowed him to successfully structure and manage the eTask-it development team, as well as the definition, specification and support of our solution.
